This plan offers the experience of plastic tile breaking in Okinawa, the birthplace of karate!

Plan Content

Introducing a new sightseeing program in Okinawa, the birthplace of karate: the "KAWARAWARI (roof tile breaking) Experience"!

Join us at a special dojo where the distinctive red-tiled roofs of Okinawa are beautifully displayed. In the event of rain, the program will be relocated to the plaza in front of the museum.

Our knowledgeable staff will provide a comprehensive lecture on the techniques and precautions involved in breaking roof tiles.

Capture memorable moments by taking photos and videos of yourself in action as you break the roof tiles.

Please choose from the following plans:

Option 1:
Normal Plan / ¥2,000 per person (tax included)
Experience includes:

3 sessions of kawara splitting (maximum of 10 kawara each)
Tile cracking certificate issued
Tour of the Okinawa Karate Museum (normally ¥400 per person)

Option 2:
Plan with Tile Cracking Crackers (medium) / ¥3,000 per person (tax included)
Experience includes:

3 tile cracking sessions (maximum of 10 crackers each)
Tile cracking certificate
Tour of the Okinawa Karate Museum (usually ¥400 per person)
Tile cracking cracker [medium] box (¥1,080/box)
The experience time is approximately 30 minutes for a pair of two people.
*The tour will be held in front of the special dojo on sunny days and in the plaza in front of the museum on rainy days.
Photography is not allowed in the museum.

Basic Information

Location	Okinawa Karate Kaikan (854-1 Tomigushiro, Tomigushiro City, Okinawa 901-0241, Japan)
Route	(1) Meet at Okinawa Karate Kaikan (approximately 15 minutes by car from Naha Airport). (2) Reception at the store in the exhibition facility. (3) Change into do-gi. (4) KAWARAWARI experience. (5) Free time for a tour of the museum (including theater, attractions, and exhibits related to Okinawa karate, etc.).
Required Time	The duration of the experience is approximately 30 minutes.
Participation Target	Participants must be 15 years old and above. Individuals under 15 years old can experience the program with the consent of a parent or guardian.
Other items included in the fee	Karate uniform rental is available, and changing rooms are provided.

Payment and Cancellation

Cancellation from the day before to the day of the event will incur a 50% charge of the total cost.
